Why does this guide use SET instead of TEST when sending messages?
Some existing mesh bots automatically respond or send tapbacks when they see the word TEST. Because those bots cannot be changed for this exercise, LoRa traffic will use SET before the precedence and EXERCISE in the message text. This avoids unnecessary automated replies and extra mesh traffic while still making simulated traffic clear to participants.
